bite me or team jacob?

Eclipse hits theaters today! (As if you didn't already know.) So in honor of my favorite of the Twilight series coming out today, I've listed 2 cards on Etsy with FREE shipping.

I also wanted to share a few Twilight goodies I've stumbled across.

First up is Shielou. She is an amazing talent! I found her blog a year or so ago and have been marveling at it ever since. She sculpts these tiny little charms, rings, earrings and more. Each one is so detailed and unique! She has created characters from Twilight, Harry Potter, Alice in Wonderland, and even Doctor Who (my fiancé would appreciate me throwing that one in). Below are just a few of my favorites. Please do visit her blog and Etsy shop to see them all.

Come on! How awesome is this!?!

I love this little Jacob wolf curled up next to Bella!

This might be my favorite. These little guys look just like Emmett and Rosalie!

Spot on with Jasper and Alice too!

Next is Chibi's Charms. I stumbled across Chibi's Charms on Etsy earlier today and couldn't get over this AWESOME Jacob charm (SOLD). It was sculpted by hand and distressed to look like real wood. It's exactly the image I had in my head of the little wooden charm Jacob gives Bella in Eclipse!

Chibi Charms also has an adorable Edward and Bella bracelet currently has for sale on Etsy (see below).

Lastly, I found this great handmade stamp on Etsy by Dragonflycurls. Very clever! Check out the rest of their shop for other great stamps.

So . . . Bite me or Team Jacob? Which one are you?

14 dresses

Have you seen the movie '27 Dresses'? If you're female, I know you have! It's one of those ubber chick flicks that wraps up the ending in a big fat bow. Though I usually don't like such predictable movies, this storyline really struck a cord with me (and was surprisingly good!). For those of you that haven't seen the movie, Katherine Heigl's character, Jane, has been in 27 weddings and therefore has 27 bridesmaids dresses. Some pretty . . . some not so pretty.

So you probably already know that I've been designing custom wedding invitations for about 5 years now. But what you may not know is that, much like Jane, I've also been in my fair share of weddings . . . 14 to be exact. (Now you see why a cord was struck, right?) I know being in 14 weddings sounds somewhat ridiculous, but I'm from a huge Italian family and got started young!

(my first custom wedding design)

Well I'm thrilled to let you all know that after designing countless wedding invitations for other people and wearing 14 dresses, I'll be putting on my 15th dress in the spring of 2011. On our 5 year anniversary of meeting, Ben asked me to marry to him!

Always a bridesmaid . . .  and 14 dresses later, a bride.

new father's day card in etsy shop

For all you last minute gifters, I just listed a new Father's Day card in my Etsy shop for for CHEAP!

I've recently tested 2 different print styles for my cards, letterpress and screen printing. Several months (and cards) later, I've decided to explore letterpress further and step away from screen printing for the time being. Since I'm now left with a ton of "test run" screen printed cards, I'll be selling them on Etsy at a very discounted rate.

I'm excited to be taking more letterpress classes this summer to help me decide how involved I'd really like to get. I'll be posting about my classes as they happen.

Thanks for following!
